Google Glass was launched back in 2013, but it’s only recently become a huge part of our lives, and Google has a new tool to help you find it.
Here’s how to buy it and make sure it works for you.
What you need to know about Google Glass:• Google Glass will work with Android Wear devices, but the device will not have a camera, nor will it be able to stream live video.• Google says the device can “see” around you in a 360-degree field, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it can see everything in front of it.• The device will use Bluetooth and GPS for navigation, but you’ll need to make sure you have the correct devices for your location.• It will also not work with the new Google Maps app on Android Wear, but there are a few ways to use that app to get around.• Glass will require a Google Cardboard headset, but Google says that will only work with some Glass-enabled smartphones and tablets.• Once you have your Google Cardboards, you’ll have to buy a “Google Glass” subscription to the Google Store, which will let you use the device for “any purpose,” including shopping, music, and video.
