New Google Fitness tracker is being trialled in a hospital, giving doctors and nurses the power to monitor your health for days at a time.
The Fitbit tracker, which costs $99, is being tested at a hospital in Sydney.
Its designed to track your activity levels and the amount of time you’re sitting in a chair, and track the intensity of your heart rate.
“You can monitor your heart health over time,” Dr Michael Lees from the Sydney University of Technology told the ABC.
This is not the first time a hospital has used a Fitbit.
A year ago, the health of a nurse was recorded on a FitBit in an MRI machine at Melbourne General Hospital.
Dr Lees said that while it was “good to be able to monitor the heart”, he said that it was important to be aware of the fact that your heart was not just ticking over.
He said that if your heart stops for an extended period, that could cause you to experience heart attacks.
“This is a device that can be used for a short period of time, for a very short period, and then it can be reset to an interval where it doesn’t do any more damage,” he said.
For a long time, Fitbit has been the gold standard for tracking health and fitness.
Its latest model is the Fitbit Blaze, and it is able to track multiple variables including your heart, sleep, activity, temperature and activity level.
You can see more information on the Fitbits website.
But the FitBit Blaze was originally designed for medical monitoring, so the health data was only available through the company’s app.
Now, the company has announced that it will start to release data in the next few months, so you can track your health in a more personalized way.
According to Dr Lees, it is the first data to be released from the FitBits device and he hopes that the data will be used by doctors to improve their patient care.
